Some large auditorium began nervously. told them, I relied principally on my nerve to carry me thro. Saw Willy Davis, asked if his father was insured. Later on, McArolle hailed me - he was with some outing party - had a very large pig on his lap for a prize. I offended, by asking "Were there not enough present" - joke did not take well. Dreamland refutation of my Davis speech. Slept most of the afternoon Boat light difrfring much Passed La Gima Isle. Come to anchor 8 p.m. 10 Miles off Tumaco Did not retire until 12 midnight. Much news about war - Liberal sentiment very strong. (as always, you can click on the image to get a larger view) Questions and comments:
- That was quite a dream!
- I don’t know what the word after “boat light” is.
- Tumaco is a city on the southern Pacific coast of Colombia.
- I couldn’t find anything about “Isla La Gima” (or Girna/Grina). However, there are a pair of islands that they might have passed which are called “Isla Gorgona” and “Isla Gorgonilla“
