Sister Teresa, Anna, and others. Sleep very

balance. Doubt it July a/cs balanced
though the sheet says so. I see mis-
A fine rain-bow at 5 p.m. 92° today
Mr. Stapleton to leave on Monday to re-
place McKenzie - takes Pompeo with
him. Good for 2 months stop.
I am to run shop the best I can.
Franklyns to go it alone to Borbon
on Sunday. Meisner to prepare for
Sajado. Boy did good today.
My novena being speedily answered.
Mail expected.
Prayers and to bed.
Wondering if Anna is recovering
and if rain is plentiful

Questions and comments:

  • This is the second reference that I can find to Anna’s health problem. I don’t know what this was; if the Anna that he was referring to is his future wife (which I believe he is), she lived for an additional 51 years.
  • I still haven’t been able to figure out who “Sister Teresa” was.
