Go over to talk over matters with Mr. Stapleton at Quasamambi Mr. Stapleton in accord with what I have done a la Mr. A. L. Moore. Boy takes Mr. Moore over to Sajado Pipe Line and back by Noon. Another 98° day in the shade. Sun probably as high as 120° - Whew! This gold mining makes a fellow think hard. Boy gave no selections tonight on phono- graph. Pleased all hands - 4 of us and the watchman. Night very hot and dry. No mail left as yet. Hear of indians wanting to leave here for home. No pay. Well, I wonder how it will all end. My faith is alone in the Blessed Virgin - so have patience with your trials. Only for a short time. All is smooth and harmonious again Thank God!
