Hear Mr. D.C. Stapleton leaves on 25th for
Mr. Gerald Stapleton arrives with a
friend Jim Nugent from Panama.
Office sends down Mr. J.T. Downey.
Provisions are at Limones.
They met Mr. A.L. Moore & son at Buenaventura.
Mr. Franklyn evidentially doing good work.
Answered Harry's letter.
Talked with Gerald until 10:30 p.m.
E. Campo came up with him to
Concepcion. Afraid of his being shot!
Food being en route cheers one up.
Kept Francis on roadways.
Downey very quiet for some
Nugent a keen one.
Sent Meisner word that Mr. D.C.S.
leaves Thursday. by note from Mr. D.C.S.
through Sam Taylor, cook.

  • Lots of new people in the camp today.
  • Gerald Stapleton is Daniel Stapleton’s brother.
  • I’m not sure about the word before “Francis”.
  • “Harry”, who he wrote to, is almost certainly his brother.
